Alienware M17x 3D gaming laptop getting Klipsch speakers | ZDNet

Doesn't this already have Klipsch? I thought the XPS had JBL, whatever it was, the XPS had WAY better speakers and dedicated BASS.

EDIT: Also I realize they put the 285M NVIDIA card in the article, was that a typo or was that supposed to be for something else, I am kind of confused now.

Its been said like 3000 times on the forum and can be found with the search tool.

The M17x R3 DOES HAVE Klipsch speakers in it. It HAS HAD Klipsh speakers in it and it is not breaking news. Why tech news sites are saying this NOW is beyond me.

That's what I figured....What in the world is going on. LOL

EDIT: Just read KLIPSH's press release. They might actually be CHANGING the speakers out for 2.1's instead of what they have built-in now...Which, if that is the case, ESPECIALLY after all the delays, is BS and AW would be majorly screwing their current user-base.

It's just marketing hype. These speakers are so small so not even dyn made speakers would make difference. If you want real sound, then go for real audio.

Marketing hype for something that has been on the market for over a month? They are passing it off as they haven't been shipping with them already which makes me think they are upgrading the speakers they are using, OR the press release was WAAAAAY later than planned :)
