Check your device manager for audio installed it should tell you what it is.

The Alienware supplied AlienFX icon which is part of the command center has all the color options. You should be able to change the color to black to make it seem it's off.

    The r2 uses IDT audio

You should have an IDT control panel. The icon shows up in my taskbar

You can always reinstall everything if you're missing something
