Im having a wierd issue on my m17x r2 with windows explorer.
Sometimes for no reason the taskbar will no longer be displayed, except for the start menu button. and the only way to fix this is to restart my computer. this is getting really annoying. ill tak a picture of my desktop to show you what i mean.

as you can see, at the top where my taskbar should be only the start button is showing

Yeah, something similar happened on my old computer...a reinstall fixed it.

PS, with the new windows 7 launch bar...why do you have a mac dock?

Have you tried disabling/removing Rocketdock to see if it's the culprit?

yea ive been having this problem since before i installed the dock. it happened shortly after i installed the alienware theme though. so i thought maybe that was the culprit so i uninstalled it and stardock mycolors but the problem kept re-occuring.

I had this issue too.. it was with the Win installation the laptop came with. When i installed my own SSD and reinstalled windows, problem gone. i don't really know what was causing it beside the suspect that it was related to alienware screensaver that i was using

hhmmm this is interesting. im currently using a custom alienware screensaver. ill try removing it for now and see if that does anything. I really dont feel like re-installing windows and re-downloading all my games from steam.
