    Is there a way to turn off tessation either in the CCC or in 3Dmark 11 and 3DMark Vantage? I read somewhere you get better GPU scores with that off. Thanks

    Better scores in 3DMark11 only as Vantage doesn't use it. But it would give biased results as you are using shortcuts and some regard that as cheating as you won't be running the test with proper settings.

    In CCC just go to Games or something like that. In there there will be a slider.

    funny thing is it does...I just hadnt noticed it before.

    On a side note...how freaking incredible is Tessellation? Seriously next level sh*t!

    Yeah, tessellation is pretty dope. I need to get my 6990 back from Eurocom though. From what I hear, the 5870 is capable of tessellation, but it is not very good at it.

    m17xr3 6970m 2720qm driver at 11.10 from one of the threads in the forum.. do you have a link to a good one? perhaps i can reinstall? or should i just install 11.9

    I got my driver directly from AMD's website. I didn't uninstall any of my CAPs either. Maybe get the one from the AMD website, and slap it on top of what you've already got. If it says that CCC is already up to date, I believe there is an option to reinstall it anyway. Try that.
