Got my laptop today and having a blast however for some reason, I can't seem to connect it to my tv via the hdmi port. Went into control panel to extend the display and all that but for some reason, my TV just doesn't pick up that my laptop is connected via HDMI. On the other hand, my laptop picks up the TV just fine. It works fine via VGA but not hdmi for some reason. My laptop is running windows 7 with a 7970m in and my TV is one of the earlier Samsung 3d models.. the C7000 I believe. Judging by the looks of things, it's a problem with my TV however I can connect my desktop via hdmi to the TV just fine so really scratching my head on this. Anyone else have similar difficulties or have any ideas I could try?
