Hi there, Wondering what drivers (after Dell site's old drivers) are considered good for my m17xr3 after a factory reset.
I just factory reset my m17xr3 (2630q 2.0-2.8)/ AMD 6870m 1gb. I decided to because i had some issues after trying to manually install the 12.1CCC/gfx driver.
I am starting from stock , with the drivers all up to date as per the support.dell farce (most drivers are 6 months old).
Running 7x64 pretty much barebones (no aero, useless services disabled, backup/windows search disabled). i am looking to get the best performance out of this laptop that i can (skyrim, diablo 3, various older titles were stuttering pre factory reset). I am unsure if the stutter was cpu or hdd related (750 seagate maximus in this notebook).

--Basically im looking for a safe/stable way to install newer drivers (12.1 wouldnt install due to the m17xr3's hardware config), or an answer to its performance issues (stuttering cpu or hdd based). it has never overheated stays nicely below 70.
