Hello all, Ive owned my m17x R1 for almost 2 years now and its getting to be time to upgrade the components. I'd like to get better GPU's, CPU, and ram. I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions for what GPU's, CPU, and ram I should get as well as guides for how to do these tasks. My specs are:

    Intel core 2 duo t9600 @2.8 ghz
    4 gb ddr3 ram (stock)
    Dual gtx 280m
    1 tb 7200 rpm raid-0
    1200p 1920x1200 screen

Thanks for reading this hopefully I get some good suggestions!

Well, it has been now confirmed that two mobility 5870 work in the M17x, IDK about nVIDIA 580M or ATi mobility 6970/6990

    CPU: QX9300

RAM: You'll max out at 8Gb.
