i know there have been lots of threads about ram choices but this particular brand has never came up before so im hoping you guys can give me some help :p

im deciding to get a 8gb ram upgrade(from 6gb default from dell) finally and im considering between 2 of these kits.

the first is this ocz 2x4gb 1333mhz cl 9 9 9 20 from amazon( i cant buy others like the corsair one because they only ship this ocz one internationally and i live in singapore) Total cost plus shipping : about 250sgd but not sure if theres international life warranty

and another is from someone local selling in a local forum, saying its an oem kit and its brand new. but the brand is kreton and ive never really heard of it and he doesnt know much about the specs of it. all he can tell me is 2x4gb 1333mhz and no ram timings.
total cost 170 sgd negotiable but warranty not xferable so if the guy isnt a retailer or supplier, i guess the ram is without warranty
link to kreton site: Welcome to Kreton!

the price difference is quite great thats where my headache is.

should i go for the ocz because i know for sure its going to be better or take a risk and go for the cheaper one?

how much difference will i actually see(gaming/productivity wise) if the ram timing for the cheaper one is like 9 9 9 24 compared to the ocz's 9 9 9 20?

any other ram recommendations are welcome  but bear in mind i cant order from newegg/most of amazon due to international shipping issues

and also, does anyone know whats the ram timing for the ones dell send the m17xr2 with? i dont have my system with me to check :(

You won't tell the difference, between them. If he gives a DOA warranty and the Kreton works when you get it your ok. Should keep working. The OCZ is what it is nice Ram. Its your call, me i'd go for the much cheaper as long as he stands behind it to work when it arrives. Good luck
edit: new egg has got your ram on sale for 99.00 us.

yea i realised that newegg has a promo but international shipping isnt available for newegg. the problem with the kreton is there is totally no warranty and though he says its brand new, he imported it so there is no receipt and i doubt kreton will uphold their lifetime warranty without a receipt since they only sell to oems.
