So i just got my U3 in the mail today. I currently have the fans mounted in the back right under the AW17 vents. Is this the best place for them?

Attach one piece right under the cpu fan-one under the gpu fan and the last one just below the graphics card in the middle. I have mounted 12v fans with a separate power adapter. You need to measure out exactly right to the millimeter. Use the folding rule. View attachment 113271

folding rule = measuring stick? Google translator "-) I used an old torshiba 15 volt power adapter. Fans get a bit more voltage than standard. overclocked fans to my overclocked i7- 4930mx. :D

I bought my fans in Norway, so it is not in sale for you. But fans are some of the best you can buy. 80mm fan is Noctua nf-r8 pwm (Max 17dB noise and airflow (53m "/ h). 140mm fan is Noctua nf-p14 flx (Max noise19.6db) with airflow (110.3m" / h).
The fans who were originally, there is no point to use. Garbage fans.

Pch temperature fell by 5-6 degrees Celsius. GPU temperature went down by 3 degrees Celsius. Cpu temperature went down by 2-3 degrees Celsius. All temperatures are an Average during use on my overclocked PC.

Heres my mod, I actually might have a Full coolmaster build in the works - Sponsored by cool master, currently though its 5x arctic cool f8 pro 80mm fans , rated at 33 cfm at full rpm at 17db, controlled by a bitfenix recon, sensors are setup to pickup the exhaust heat from the CPU , GPU on 2 channels each to match the correlating fans, , when the cpu temp rises the cooler fans go on before the laptop fans do, for both the CPU GPU, independantly, so as I am browsing and not doing much its Quiet, but when i game its actually still quieter than the laptops fans,
