    Just thought id let you guys know that the new series x40 series cpu's are available on the M17x in the UK as of now....just checked the website and they are up!!!

    They funny thing is that they have the exact same price for both 920XM and 940XM :) probably a mistake

    I dont think so, i have seen similar trends already. after all, i think engadget reported that the intel prices are only a few dollars apart.....but does make you wonder i guess....

    They are both the same chip with the same stepping, so there shouldn't be much of a price difference for 133Mhz.

    There is NO price difference on the UK site between 820 - 840 or 920 - 940

    Well in Austria the x40s are available since today - and I checked Germany and there they are available too - seems that they launched the x40s all over europe. In Austria they increased the price of the whole system by 100 Euro since yesterday but the upgrade to the 740 still costs 90 euro (which was the prio price upgrade for the 720).
    So overall from yesterday to today now I get my 740 processor but the price increase for it is 190 Euro pfff.

    I dont see the x40's on the US site what gives (even tho im waiting for sandy bridge)
