    ‪Alienware M18x WMP Plugin‬‏ - YouTube

I felt like this was worthy of it's own thread, since I am completely and fully 110% satisfied with my Alienware M18x.

    Order placed on 5/26/11
As many of you might have seen my posts in Order Discussion, my order was cancelled 3 times, each and every time by Dell. Not to mention delayed into eternity because of the WirelessHD.

Finally, after long wait on July 12, at 3:00pm, FedEx arrived at my door with my M18x. Now, a week later, I've been using it with no issues at all. No Aero disappearance, Zero Dead Pixels, Fantastic GPU temperatures on both cards, even after long hard hours of strenuous gaming. No physical defects, smudges, dents, or paint chips. There's even HARDLY any keyboard flex. I'm on AMD Reference drivers, and I can still switch back and forth between them without a hitch. Hell, my name is even spelled correctly on the nameplate.

The wait was well worth it, considering the outcome.

Good! I'm happy for you brother.

My baby has been In Production for 7 days now. Hopefully I'll have it in a week. I hope I have no problems as well. I'm nervous about my 6990m's running too hot. There's no way I'm cracking the laptop open and doing a paste job. That's a disaster waiting to happen.

I have to say that my laptop is running great. I have no issues, upgraded drivers with no problems and the machine is running games outstandingly. The 6970s really have a LOT of overclocking room as well. This is a beast computer and the best AW i have owned; even better than the R2.

I don't know how you waited as long as you did. I'd have found a roof to jump off of. I'm already losing my patience after a week!
