    Hello

my system is starting to show its age... and will i was wondering if overclocking the gpu over 950mhz on stock voltage for hours on end ... daily ... can cause damage if temps stay around 80C...

anybody here is using or as used their 780m o/ced for daily application?

I have see lots of overclock here and on the web but its seem's its only for a couple of benchmark. so since i don't want to kill the card just yet as i need at least 2 more years lol.

i prefer personal experience over logic .... meaning you have yourself overclocked 780m over 950mhz and it lasted until you bought new card or changed laptop without advese effect!

    thanks!

if you have the money then buy 2 980Ms and flash the new BIOS that adds support for the 980Ms.

but anyway, i've used a single 780M with it breaking the 1ghz mark with no issues.

880M is basically same card and 880M has 994 MHz on boost/ 954 MHZ standard so, answer is simple ;)

I don't think you can break anything unless you raise the voltage.

That's pretty much what I do now. Just run the best clocks I can get 24/7 @ stock volts.
