    Hello my Alienfriends,

Better later that never - I just managed to get full access to my Alienware 18 insyde Bios based on A09.
Now I need some assistance from Notebook gurus what we can fix there, particularly I need to fix crippled fan tables for my 4930mx and maybe make it run full throttle)

    1. How?
    2. Can this be applies to A12? That is needed for 980M legacy mode. Fan profiles were also updated in Bios A12

    1. First of all, I should admit this achievement belongs to one kind person from Bios-mods and he never said his name, but he kindly left his contacts in case. He guided me through all the process and modified my A09 bios.

And it was not hardware flashed. You may not believe, but flashing process was so easy that I couldn't help laughing - I did it directly from my win10 and it took some 20 seconds. Reboot. And success))

    2. Do you have legacy boot option in A12?

We need to get in touch with him and mod BIOS A12, legacy boot option for Maxwell cards (960M, 965M, 970M, and 980M) is only available in A12. A10 and earlier use UEFI mode only. fan tables were updated in BIOS A12. You need to link the modder here:

An unlocked A12 would be great. As you said, better late than never.

You can't flash AW18 modified BIOS because Secure Flash is protecting it. There was an exploit but for Secure Boot and AFAIK they aren't using same key.

I answered to everybody in pm. There are few precautions but I believe we will get A12 with full menu access soon. Already in progress)
Hope to see some comments soon here...

By the way, I am still looking for someone strong in bios settings to adjust cpu cooling properly. It will be interesting to compare settings with A12 unlocked as well.

If you can beat AES encryption then you can easily hack PS4 and Xbox One and they're not hacked. It cannot be flashed through software.
