    Hi all. I just bought the Alienware 18 and I am looking for a laptop sleeve that will fit it for added protection when I shove it in my vindicator briefcase bag. I have located a couple that are known to fit the old M18x. Does anyone know if these two laptops have the same dimensions? If not, which is bigger and by how much? Thanks.

    The Alienware 18 is actually just a bit larger. Notebookcheck has the dimensions at the following links, but I've also left my own approximate measurements.


    Approximate Dimensions for M18X R1/R2

    Width: 43.5 cm (17.25 inches)
    Depth: 32 cm (12.5 inches)
    Height: 4.7 cm (1.75 inches)


    Approximate Dimensions for Alienware 18

    Width: 45 cm (17.75 inches)
    Depth: 32.5 cm (13 inches)
    Height: 5.25 cm (2.1 inches)

    Yup, the Alienware 18 is definitely bigger. The Vindicator bag should fit both.
