I may have a few hours to spare tonight for some online gaming.
I had like 10 movies to download before they pass SOPA and I had to mirror then install my new SSD again. Now I'm good for some over the weekend gaming sessions.

 

I'm game for some online too. Just let me know what I should download I'm thinking Rage haven't played that for awhile

 

I need to get better at BF3...lol. So hopefully we all can get into a locked game.

 

Hello all, sorry if this is a little bit off topic, but i just wanted to give you guys the news. Dell Tech support has finally saw that my graphics cards do indeed have a fault in them, so, for a one off payment of £453 (i know, a bit of money) i will get 2 Nvidia 580M's with their respective heatsinks and SLI cable and installation at home with an engineer. Finally some light beyond the tunnel! And finally a powerhouse of a laptop! :-D
Thank you to all who helped me out with this situation, i couldn't have done it without you peeps (you know who you are ;-))

 

YaaaaY!! I'm so glad Dell is taking care of you, buy offering a solution. Some people here are under the assumption that Dell is required to provide serious upgrades like 460M SLI<580M SLI for free or next to nothing. This is not the case. Once you configure to order all they are responsible for is equal parts, if the need arise. Just like any other manufacturer. I'm sure that Dell has some 460M's lying around for cases like yours. It's great that Dell has heard your cry and are doing the right thing.

Heeey!!! You didn't mention that you have a PS Vita with a slightly different name.
As you can see, I also use the same alias for everything.

 

The vita is SPECIAL!

 

Do you have Wipeout 2048 or UMvC3? I also recommend Xilisoft Video Converter Ultimate with PS Vita Profile for video conversion. Xilisoft has Nvidia CUDA/AMD APP support that works fantastic with our M18x's. It also has optimized power schemes. It has very good support for subtitles and audio tracks. If you need a link let me know. I'll shoot you a PM. I've tried Nero, DVDfab, Badaboom, Mediacoder etc.... nothing beats Xilisoft.

 

I have UMVC3 as far as video I have no issues since I have a NAS box with 4 tera's of videos. I can transencode on the fly so I can watch them on my phone or computer over the net. I can also stream them anywhere in my home.

It also downloads any tv episodes that hit usenet scrubs them and renames them in the right directories! I love my Qnap NAS!

Sorry to hear about your band cap. I hate it when companies do that! Comcast tried to black list me a few times because I downloaded 40 tera bytes every other month.

Hi all,

Has anyone noticed on origin that since the update, you cannot restore the origin application window down to the taskbar when clicking on the open app on the taskbar and that the application no longer says full screen when opening from fresh.

Go into the origin installation folder and run the updatetool.exe, then run Origin

Noticed same yesterday after updating origin. Read on the web, found solutions which left me clueless. Went to system restore. Started BF3 again. This time did not do the update, but went offline. I then had to reenter my password, and the game ran fine offline. Shut game off, went to taskbar ,located origin and opened up the BF3 from there, just for grins tried on line and it worked as before. Tried it just now, before posting this, and it works as it did before yesterday. Hope this helps

The new iPad is awesome. The 2048x1536 screen dwarfs every screen I've ever seen. With the right wallpaper it's phenomenal. The A5X with quad core GPU is amazing! The new dictation keyboard is awesome. The new iSight camera is awesome. I haven't activated 4G LTE yet. iPhoto is awesome! The games are amazing!!......especially Sky Gamblers Air Supremacy. iMessage is still sick. I could go on all day. There REALLY is a huge difference between the new iPad and iPad 2.

I did have heat issues with my first new iPad. Our 2 current new iPad's barely break a sweat.

Here's my new iPad setup. Currently I have 4G disabled because it drains the battert a lot faster than I would like.

I got the 4G/LTE model....what a waste of an additional 129.99. 4G/LTE is garbage in my area and the plans are lame. It helps with resale value so I'll live.
