If your screen is black at POST and you cannot see anything or enter the BIOS, something else is going on. You may have messed things up using a UEFI vBIOS on the M18xR1 (which has no UEFI support). The damage should not be permanent, but it may be a pain in the bottom to fix it. You are going to have to open it up again no matter what.

If you have your old video cards, replace the primary GPU with the old GPU. Flash the secondary GPU with the stock vBIOS or one that is not for UEFI. Put the other GPU in the secondary slot and flash that one as well.

That should not be a problem except for the vBIOS. The GPU itself shouldn't have a compatibility problem. You may need to get an older 880M vBIOS with proper Legacy support and flash that. Maybe @GodlikeRU has one he can share that works correctly for his M18xR1. Or, let you know what version works best. Then you can see if svl7 has a modded vBIOS of that version available if you want one.

For me it is a problem I never flash a VBIOS :)

I need a good guide and files.

One other thing makes me angry that Mr. .... Eurocom tells me that I could install cards for alienware 18 without problems.

    I was commanded set to M18x ..

Flashing is not difficult as all. Being apprehensive the first time is completely normal and understandable. After you do it you will no longer have fear. Get the right vBIOS and then read these instructions.

No reason to be angry. They are technically correct about the GPU from the Alienware 18 being compatible. This is true. The vBIOS is not the GPU any more than the drivers. It is firmware. As they are not an Alienware vendor, they might not be aware of the difference between the M18xR1 and M18xR2, and may not know the M18xR1 lacks UEFI/GOP boot support.

    What I do not understand,
Because for one day I could play using your PC without problems.

I also played for more hours. I was so happy ...

The problems began after new graphics driver installation.

    Note outside post
I used the driver Mr. Fox on cards gtx 580m. was perfect :)

Yeah, strange issues. NVIDIA is doing some crazy and evil things lately.

Really? That's good to know it worked well for 580M also. Thanks.

    Perfect driver for 580m.

If you ask a company DELL
They may have a vbios not UEFI?

Or if someone is able to create me a car boot file so that I have to click "y"

    I only VBIOS flash,
the one on the website for DELL 580m gtx :)
