hi. My son has a late 2014 M18x with m290x crossfire, we've read a few issues with installing windows 10 with lcd errors etc.
should his laptop be ok to upgrade as its one of the last 18" ?
Also would you do a fresh install or the easy keep all my files upgrade????
    Thanks for any help.

Only seems to happen with Nvidia cards, so you are good.

I would still hold on.. Do you have warranty? Then risk it... otherwise, no harm in waiting... Windows 10 killed my 970M (directly/indirectly)...

I have the same spec'ed AW18 as your unit along with the dual 290x's and I can confirm it works fine 100% in this configuration. Been using 10 since the day it was released. Just instal the drivers for 10 from the dell website after updating to 10 and it should be A'OK.

Also install the 3.7.1 Windows 10 drivers from AMD's website if Windows Update doesn't install them by itself. They give me quite a performance boost on Windows 10.
