The parts number you are quoting are Card Reader Board and Palmrest Circuit Board. Not the correct number for the ribbon cables.

"Part# H3VYP is for the entire Card Reader assembly. This includes a 30 pin cable while the other cable is attached to your Palmrest."
Here it is: Amazon.com: Dell Alienware 18 H3VYP SD Card Reader Board LS-933LP: Computers & Accessories

The other one, which may or may not come with the ribbon (not sure)
Amazon.com: Dell Alienware 18 MNJW7 Keyboard SD Card Junction Circuit Board LS-9338P: Computers & Accessories

I totally feel your anxiety regarding sending the notebook in if you can fix it yourself. Ive heard enough horror stories from sloppy technicians not caring about other peoples property

What good would it do to send it in if they can't find the cable. It would just sit there. Better off sitting at your house then with them until they can find a cable. And hopefully you can find one in the meantime yourself and not have to send it in.

For a proper fire it will be a mosfet somewhere on the board.
