    I tried with cTDP, max temps on all 8 threads stability test is 75C which is where I'd like it to be, that's very stable. The clock throttles down to 3.5 GHz on all 4 cores / 8 threads but stays @ 4 GHz on a single core

    Idle temp is 45C compared to 55 C with the overclock I had yesterday

    I will try later today, I thought I had applied correctly. Thin layer on the die, thin layer on the heatsink, tightened heatsink screws as much as possible.

    Can you increase the turbo boost short power max and turbo boost power max setting's in the bios ? (The name is Short duration pwr limit options and Long duration pwr limit) This with your bios settings to cTDP... If you can then maybe the processor can get a little more power and perhaps keeping a slightly higher clock frequency during tests ...
    How did your previous Mq processor compared to your extreme under benchmark tests? Thinking especially of temperature and throttling ..
    Possible (perhaps) that the heatsink is not optimal in relation to the use of such a thin thermal grease as liquid ultra is ....(bad heatsink)

    Maxed out at 66 degC, which isn't bad running at 3.5ghz 4 cores, with -50mV undervolt.

    @Matrix Leader6
    What do you think about a physics score of over 12,000 in 3DMark Fire Strike with an almost 2 year old Hotwell laptop processor :D ? The new high end i7-4980bga get under 9700 in the same Fire strike physics test :newpalm:. Also the total score in 3Dmark Fire strike is also good when you take into account that Aw17R1 only have a single gtx780m... :p In a second 3DMark Fire strik test I got almost 12,100 in physics score (missing 10 points) :(.
