Every release of Doom is awesome, and the latest is the best... I ran the game and then edit/encoded the video with the 6700K running 4.7GHz the entire time and the max core temp throughout all of that was 76°C. The delid and Liquid Ultra was highly effective.

Word is SLI support is coming. Maybe that's when I take the plunge..

OpenGL is bad graphics library. It's complicated and not intuitive. It takes a lot more time to do something in OpenGL than DirectX. OpenGL also has very bugged SLI support and it's nearly impossible to fix it in the game.
Yes Doom is on OpenGL but they are planning to use Vulkan in patch and Vulkan supports SLI so im waiting for support too. They already have working prototype as GTX 1080 Doom test was made on Vulkan.
The only problem is that only newer Nvidia drivers supports Vulkan and they can kill your GPU or display...Last edited: May 16, 2016 -

Game works like a dream with all settings on ultra/nightmare,etc. Looks like they really optimized this well.

I am not home, just buy the game if you dont have it. I will definatly finish this game and play it over many times. Lots of easter eggs I need to find. In fact I am still finding them in Doom 3 BFG
DOOM 780M SLI eating it up
