Can you buy the advanced warranty on the outlet m18x's or are you stuck with the basic warranties?

I was just checking it few minutes ago and it was out there. Put in my cart to look a little further. I doubt I'd find anything better than the one I picked up on Saturday with the dual 6990s for the price paid. Always looking though.

Wow the one I saw this morning had bigger HD, double memory, and 6990's for $500 less. Only downside was it was "just" a 2630 cpu. Not sure why they have such huge differences in price.

That processor is really expensive was $900 more than the i7 2630QM and for some reason in the uk dual 6970m are slightly more expensive than dual 6990m

Because the 2920XM is a beast, and coupled with BIOS level overclocking, you will be hitting ~4ghz on all cores and 4.5ghz on single and double threaded apps.

The chip itself is a $900 upgrade and OEM chips sell for $1180 new on their own.

That's what I plan on doing. Also, the 6970 vs 6990 in CF on the games I play was only a couple of FPS difference.

Yeah, I know it's a better CPU. It just seems like they are charging full retail price for that CPU. Normally the outlet is about 50% of retail from what I have been seeing. If they were the same exact price I could understand it.
