    I think it's 3 x 256 SSD + 1 x 256 mSata. So 4, plus no details about any ODD are listed either.

I think you got the Alienware 18 i was looking at that was fully loaded with 4930mx, triple ssd along with Msata drive. It was like $4k before discount but I thought it disappeared before coupon came out unless you did a chat or call them up. I hope you got a slick deal on that and enjoy that beast.

    Thanks

It popped up around 4:30PM on Dell Outlet yesterday. It was around $4630 - 25% = $3,372 - $100 and got upgraded with free NBD expedited shipping, which I will receive on the 23rd :D .. I had to jump on it. I will definitely enjoy it.

That's what they are calling the "Quad Play" setup with 4 SSD. Nice! 1TB 4 SSD RAID0. There is no internal ODD. You will need to grab an external USB ODD if you actually have a need for one. I think I have used mine 3 or 4 times in 2 years and it works equally well connected by a cable in the rare event that I do.

Please be sure to give us an AS SSD and/or Anvil SSD benchmark when it arrives.

I thought the clearance outlet coupons only work on the specified models? I tried applying it to an Alienware 17 before and the coupon code didn't appear to work, it said I didn't have a valid configuration item in my cart or something. Do you have to call to get them to apply that?

That is an awesome rig! Congrats!

Edit** Nevermind. I found the promo code from the twitter account.

I was just looking at 18s on HIDEvolution and I'm looking at about $5500-6000 + delivery to Australia for a similar system. Teach me your ways.
