For me, Dolby works as should. Just try that:
    1. Extract new Dell audio drivers
    2. Place DS1 and/or PCEE4 folders (I placed both, coz idk which one I need :) ) from previous drivers (if you have them) in RealtekHDAudio folder
    3. Run Setup.exe
I can upload my drivers with Dolby, if you want.

P.S. It is Dolby Digital Plus Home Theater

It's probably because you installed the official drivers from Dell's site, then Micro$h4ft silently updated the drivers since they are realtek drivers to the generic ones.

This is the main reason I don't use Windows 10 is forced driver upgrades because Micro$haft want to control my system.

That didn't do anything. Dolby installs just fine but it doesn't work at all. Changing the settings does nothing and when playing music you can see the EQ isn't bouncing up and down like it used to.

Ok, when I'll be at home, I'll upload my audio driver, maybe that will help. :) Because mine Dolby EQ works fine.

You can turn off automatic updates. Just try that: https://i.imgur.com/4m9nnVR.png

But I don't want to disable automatic updates, I just want to disable driver updates.......

But driver updates are coming with automatic windows updates. You can change that setting to notify about new updates, and if it is a driver update, then just hide it with MS tool.

    My audio drivers with Dolby.

Thanks to everyone. I finally got it to work somehow. It's a different version and has different (less) options but it works and the sound is great.

That's what I did. I don't wanna mess with it anymore trying to get the old version I had. This one is perfectly fine.

Forgive my ignorance, Ive tried looking around the dell site for the Windows 8.1 version of the drivers and keep finding the ones dated 6/25 which are just listed for 'windows' not 8.1 specifically. For clarification are you using the drivers RaSeven linked or if not, can you link me to the Dell download? I would appreciate it immensely.
