I am not really sure what is going on here but is this normal for GTX 680Ms? Could it be the custom vBIOS I have installed

After the temperature hits 64 degrees on the COMPAL EC sensor, the fans activate and cool it down to 45 degrees and then they go off to 0 RPM again.

VBIOS does not touch bios EC behavior which controls fans. That behavior is normal.

Don't take that as they are not actually running, HWinfo will show zero value for a few seconds inbetween reading/updating values, it is actually running.

You probably should disable the Compal EC sensor with HWiNFO64. It can cause some issues when it is enabled. It's not needed and the info it reports is redundant with other sensors anyway.

The Dell EC should also be disabled. If it is not, when HWiNFO64 is launched you will see this message, and should choose to disable it when prompted.

Another thing i noticed Annie is GPU 2 for my system atleast, once around 69-71c GPU1 Fan will get up to about 3600ish, and GPU2 will get up to about 3400 then down to 2800 and stay there while GPU 1 stays at 3600, and it makes for about a 10c difference roughly for me, if i manually set them to 3600 they are within 1-3c difference, about normal for GPU2 to run alittle warmer with the Heatsink design etc.

I have the same issue here and this happens, I believe, after the a05 bios update.

And I can say for sure that the fans are really in zero rotation. I did open the bottom and looked at them while running Windows. They turn on during post and right after the windows logo the fans turn off and stay this way until a game is launched... Before a05, they worked during windows...
