If it's a AAA title from any company that focuses on consoles, don't buy it day 1. Ever. That should be common knowledge; unless you know exactly what you're getting yourselves into =3.

if you're looking to squeeze a little more out then i suggest pulling the old anamorphic widescreen trick that DVDs and Blu-rays use in order to conserve disc space. it works well for me in the SP with only just noticable jaggies but nothing too bad i think at least.
1) go into the nvidia control panel and set a custom resolution like 1440x1080p60.
2) go to 'Adjust desktop size and position and select the display you use to display games.
3) in '2. Apply the following settings:' select 'Full-screen' as the scaling mode and the GPU to perform the scaling. Apply settings.
4) go into CODAW and select 1440x1080 then go into the advanced video option and select AR mode to display in wide 16:9.
Once the settings are applied it to be in the correct ratio, but strangely my RTSS counter isn't though i am ok with that. -
I don't think I'll buy any title that is less than SIX months old now. If that is how they want to treat the PC gamers, than I'll respond in kind.

In most cases that's what I do, too. Not only to you avoid the buggy new releases, you can generally buy the games for 50 to 75% less. In the last 3 or 4 years the only games I bought close to release without holding out for a $20 price tag were Crysis 3 and this COD:AW. In both cases I did not have any major problems and absolutely love both titles, but I still cannot forgive myself for paying full retail price, LOL... what a waste! Waiting 6 months or so you can usually buy 3 AAA games for the price of one.
