Can someone please let me know what the maxium stock fan speeds are with the alienware 18? (while using hwinfo64) fan speeds for the cpu max out at 3700rpm,

Gpu1 highest it can go is 3500rpm
Gpu2 highest it can go is 3300rpm

I know the fan tables are messed up and obviously I am being way, way too picky to have paid over 5 grand for a laptop and to expect that to have been fixed by now when i only purchased the machine in 2013 is asking way to much. lol.

For real though, I did google it a lot and can't find the answer, and know someone here probably knows. If 3700rpm's is the maxium fan speed our fans can do, why is it the two identical fans hooked to the GPU's can't go the same speed? And if the fans aren't the same (which i believe they are) why wouldn't both GPU fans be able to max out at the same top speeds?

Currently Im running Hwinfo64 v5.05-2635 and see there is a newer version available, but do not think that would change anything. Should I use something other then Hwinfo64?

To be honest I love hwinfo64 and really do not want to have to use anything different if possible.

CPU and GPU fans on my M18x doesn't "work" in status of temperature. Shows between 20-70 rpm :) :) :)

Are you using Hwinfo64? If so did you disable EC Support? That opens up the options to control all three instead of them all connected. Well its been awhile but i think thats how i did it

    Doesn't help disabling EC Support.
