    Hi Guys,

I was trying to do the hard disk replacement of my new m18x. I planed to use Force GT 120 and Vertex 3 240 instead of the current HDD.

However, I pushed the battery latch as Dell manual described, the battery cannot be removed. I have no idea with this. Anyone who met this situation before? If u got any experience on this, please give me some advices.

BTW, I e-mailed dell support and I will try to call them tomorrow morning.

    Thanks

You have to push it seriously hard and possibly use a screwdriver to leaver it out. My new m18x that arrived yesterday was so hard I had to use a slot screwdriver to lift out the battery as I pushed the catch. On the other hand the first one I got just fell out it was so loose.

Ditto, I couldn't use my finger to do it. I had to get a screwdriver and push it. It will open

By the way, the software which is alien FX cannot change the colour on ZONE 1 which is the Alienware Logo only when it is in AC MODE, in terms of Battery Mode, it can be changed.

Anyone who ...................Wait for help! :D
