    LCD screen disassembly.

    Anyone know how to disassemble or know of a guide showing how to do dissemble the LCD screen to get to the wireless antenna?......in an M18xR2 of course btw.

    I think this will help - you should be able to check the antenna in the LCD assembly once the aluminium panel is removed, which you can do by following the below guide:

    The video below (courtesy of the 'Fabulous Mr Fox' ;)) will show you how to remove the LCD assembly (during his teardown) - you can stop tearing down once the entire display assembly is off - then refer to the guide above.

    i'm trying to diagnose an issue with dropped wifi signals. I'm not certain as of yet what is causing the issue. I have updated the drivers for the card and even replaced my router....and the network card...still having dropout issues so not sure what the issue is.

    do you have the killer 1103 card? you dont need to do a lcd tear down for this.

    you know I never found a solution to my killer 1103 issues. I ended up just getting an intel 6300

    Brother Optimistic Prime seems to be enjoying success with a .298 driver I linked him to in the latter pages of the Killer thread above.......but lots of people ditched the Killer because of it's sporadic performance....maybe the OP should try those drivers before ripping into his machine.

    i just tried my killer 1103 again... and it did the connection drop crap.. back to the intel 6300 I am.

    I'll give the new drivers a shot and see how it goes I suppose...can't hurt.
