    Whats causing this? I was using my computer and decided to place it on top near the touch pad and my computer goes to sleep? Does it have something to do with the magnets on the ipad and smart cover? I got scared for a sec. I thought my alien failed on me.

    Yeah. Same thing here.
    My guess is, the magnets interfering with the hard drives rather than the touchpad.
    I would avoid putting that cover anywhere near the hard drives if I were you.

    Then don't do it :D. The battery is right below that and there are alot of parts of the computer involved in the 'issues' you are facing including the motherboard...

    It just randomly happened, and I was wondering what was going on, found out it was the ipad that was causing it. Alright, the video is definitely a bad idea. idk what i was thinking. :p
