    M18x Arma 2/DayZ Freeze issue.

    Hello i recently purchased the m18x and its amazing.

    7970 Crossfire (Cat 12.6)
    i7 Ivy 3720
    8gb ram (replaced original 6gb)
    240gb ssd (my own
    750gb hdd (default)
    Killer Wireless.

    Having issues with arma 2, Specifically in the DayZ mod where i would get over 100fps with everything high. Every so often the screen will freeze for a second or two like its loading the environment while i run around but its rather frequent. Even when i turn all the graphics down to low i still get the issue.

    tldr; Running around with 100fps then the screen will freeze for a few seconds and then carry on as usual.

    Also off topic, When trying to install the original 6gb ram i received with the m18x in the 2 slots under the keyboard i get 4 loud beeps from the computer and no boot up at all. Ram issue? or motherboard?
    (fixed the issue about ram/motherboard)

    I badly want to get this game but my friends PC suck at the moment. I might just get it anyway and be a loner. I'll post my findings.

    I tried DayZ and didn't see the appeal. I ran around for a half hour without finding a weapon and died because my guy couldn't jump a 2 foot fence and was killed.

    its a mod in alpha, you clearly didn't get far enough into it.
