    i do!! and the wifi switch pops-out both the wifi alienware and windows 8 airplane mode at the same time

    When you increase volume it's the same? I mean u see alienware volume icon and win8 default one?

    nope, only wifi does that,, all the other icon are alienware OSD, so

    volume up = alienware osd
    volume down = alienware osd
    mute = alienware osd
    rewind/skip = no icon
    pause/play = no icon
    forward/skip = no icon
    eject = alienware osd
    wifi = alienware osd AND windwos airplane mode on/off
    command center = nothing at all, no icon and the command center doesn't come on

    Sorry to bring back a dead horse just to kick it some more.. ..but im at a loss i have literally been trying to fix this for 16 hours collectively as of the time I am writing this..
    I have tried EVERY osd driver I can find.. beginning to think it is the actual media panel.. really hope its not the mainboard..
    Can anyone help with this? NONE of my media buttons work. They are lit up and my media bar looks brand spanking new they simply dont do anything..
    M18x r2 on Bios a12. Should i go back to a11? I cant go to a10 as I have JUST installed a brand new 980m..
