    lacks enough mosfets, likely to blow them up if you up the TGP

    geez, u dont have to oc it until it blows up o_O it should blackscreen way before that like the 980M. so proper stress testing is key, as with all hardware, naturally.

    There are variant of gtx 1070 aka P4000. Get those if you don't want to modify the master heatsink ....

    both the P4000 and P5000 are based on GP104, i.e. the 1070 silicon. they just sport different clocks :) plus, the P4000 has a few less shaders active. the P3000 on the other hand is based on the 1060 silicon.
