Hello, and welcome to our Community. We're glad you joined us.
Wow, that's really inexpensive. You cannot even buy a crappy new BGA gaming jokebook that cheap.
R9 M290X is not great, but still... two in CrossFire is better than single GPU and the machine is fully upgradeable, and repairable, unlike the newest disposable garbage being thrown our way. If you are buying it from a reputable source, I say go for it. You cannot even buy a pair of 980M GPUs for that price, LOL. Great find. Just be careful that it is not a scam.Spartan@HIDevolution and Rotary Heart like this. -

This price is a steal! later on, everything can be upgraded slowly, the CPU can be upgraded to a 4940MX, the GPU can be upgraded to dual 780M in SLI mode, RAM can be increased to 32GB 1866 MHz, and you can throw that HDD in the bin and buy 3 SSDs as you see I did with my machine, check my sig please

I have the dual R9 m290x as it was all that was offered in my region. They still work OK (although I would prefer the 780's) and mine will score a tad over 8k with firestrike @1080 resolution. Not as high as the 780's (they seem to get >9k) but still capable of playing games with most settings cranked. I payed a lot more than $1300 for mine before christmas :/
