    Need help verifying integrity of 6990M...

    So I've been constantly bugged by a few things in my m18x and decided my first post should be to ask about my GPU's. I ordered the system with two 6990M's in crossfire and recently have begun to think that one of the cards is just flat out doing nothing. At first I didn't think of it much because games like Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Tera Online were running fine, 70~ fps with absolutely no frame rate skipping, chopping, or stuttering of any kind. It was not until I actually put my hand towards the back of the m18x that I felt something was wrong. One of the GPU fans pushes out air insanely while the other sits and does nothing. Being not completely technically handicapped, I decided to check gpu-z. Both GPU's are recognized and have been since I received the m18x, but it seems like the second card never reaches more then 30% load, if anything at all. On top of this, overclocking is a nightmare. Pushing the core clock to even 800 mhz will kill the system and cause a BSOD with eventid 41. So, with little left to know or do, I am here because I need some help/advice. Is their anyway to verify the integrity of the second card too see if it actually is working properly?

    Simply use the 3DMark Vantage/11, if you can get 25000 in Vantage or 7000 in 11, it means that the second card works very well.

    If not, check whether the option called "CrossFire X" is enabled in Catalyst Control Centre then install the latest driver and Catalyst Application Profile, try again.

    23,900 means both cards are working fine, your cpu is what will be holding those cards back. your good :), in my m18x, the left fan spins much faster than the right most fan even with sli enabled. Download msi burner, and keep it running, then check the GPU usage for both in the graph after benchmarking

    Without overclocking, my 3dmark 11 score is in the low 6300s. When I overclock, however, it scored around 7200.

    Ill keep testing with games and msi burner though.

    If you run a vantage with 2 GPU disabled, the score will be about 12k - 13k GPU score. 2 GPU scores will be 22k+
