    Hello.

    I am going to upgrade the RAM to 32GB in my M18x R2. Currently 12GB 2x4GB + 2x2GB
    Here is the memory config i have taken from my order on the Dell website. Seems the 4GB are DDR3L, but cant tell what the 2GB were. I was a little worried putting in 1.35v in place of 1.5v.

    Could you just take a look at the following;

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/HyperX-HX3...rds=hyperx+1866mhz+DDR3&qid=1591527649&sr=8-3

    and

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/HyperX-HX3...rds=hyperx+1866mhz+DDR3&qid=1591527649&sr=8-8

    Will these work on the motherboard OK?
    Secondly, they are actually different, whereby ordering single 8's is cheaper, not sure of the difference.

    well from what i see there is no difference!. and YES they will work just fine. though i'm not sure that there is gonna be any benefit from getting these more then the regular DDR3L rather then the overclocking ( which from my experience there is no much of a difference)
    in my opinion just get the DDR3L at 1666MHZ and keep them at 1866 will be cheaper

    Well thats just the odd thing, the 1866mhz version, the price has been slashed down to being cheaper than the 1600Mhz version for some reason. There may be a 1 or 2 slightly cheaper but there is only a few £ and $ in it. Basically 32GB 1866mhz Hyper X impact for $187 USD, 8GB for $46 USD....on Amazon.co.uk that is.

    as long as its cheaper then go ahead. because from a performance stand point , there is no noticeable difference
