Anybody have an idea on longevity of Gelid GC Extreme though? If it really is properly long and does better than IC Diamond; even 3 degrees is enough cause for change, due to the heat of my environment, because that's the difference between ~88 and ~84 on a hot, humid day for dem GPUs. Would be nice if I didn't need to repaste more than once a year or so. I lack a lot of good tools for working on stuff, so I usually need to get someone to lend me some (all I really have is a screwdriver at the moment), so the less hassle for now the better XD.

I remember Mr. Fox saying Liquid Ultra lasts well over 5 months so I'll definitely be using that on my CPU as soon as I can. I want a solid 4GHz basic OC if I can; I'll actually use it XD.

Very few things will last as long as ICD since that's practically a sticky solid rather than a liquid. GELID Extreme should be fine, I have it on my AMD 290 nuclear reactors and they're still holding up great.

Yup, if Haswell's a blast furnace, R9 290s are definitely nuclear reactors

What does that leave Haswell-E then? A runaway nuclear reactor?

Heh, maybe Haswell-E is trying to give AMD CPUs a run for their heat.
