Again and again: we are all lucky to have a true caring brother like Luis Porras here, but the reality show it again and again... and again "ad libitum"... Nothing that a true Total Quality Control System couldn't had avoided saving a lot (not just money) to Dell and it's customers. :)

    So

mister L. Porras ... a news for a replacement carrying bag? because like i said the bag i bought at Dell for the R2. is no good.... the new alienware 18 doesn't quite fit it.

OK, I see you have a messenger bag instead of a backpack. I misread even though your post clearly said "bag" (not backpack). Sorry about that.

As you can see, the Orion M18x backpack has more than adequate room for the Alienware 18, with sleeve or without...

I could not get it done, sorry. We are currently not offering them except for sales. Couldn't do an exception.

    Hello,

Well something weird append today. i was burning a DVD. then middle of it , the dvd player just disappeared.... rebooted checked bios . nothing in there. opened laptop to check cable... i noticed a burnt smell. not good.... removed dvd player . and put an another one from a friend system. and mine in his ... ... nothing show in my system. but both show in his system.

i guess something is wrong with my MTB.. ... i booted hirren boot cd to check if it would see my dvd to eliminate OS fluke. nada....

Called Support. they found out my warranty was not transferred :( so now im waiting on the phone to see what will append ..

EDIT: the nice tech is now transferring my warranty trough his support been on hold for 30 min. still its moving forward.

i must ad its the first time while calling alienware support that i get that level of support... .

EDIT2: the tech named George now transferred my warranty (anyways i can extend ? ) sending a blue ray with cable and motherboard via tech replacement...
on another note. i was so impressed by that tech professionalism clear talk and telling me what he was doing before putting me on hold and coming back every 10 min to tell me he's sorry and still working on my case... i talked with his supervisor gave him a 10., and expressed my surprise and awe for such a good service.
