The game is beautiful and plays smoothly. The colors are vibrant and make good use of the M18x's screen. It also is a blast to play. The story is good for once. I highly recommend it.

It does look good, got it myself and fired it up for a quick look.
Playing Uncharted 3 just now though so it'll need to wait :).

Have a look at the fan remix that's being done as well, pretty good effort I thought. Sonic Fan Remix

That fan made Sonic does look neat. I like the weather effects, but Sonic Generations is gorgeous!! My family saw me playing and immediately knew that I bought another game....lol. Sonic Generations has that same Sonic Team feeling from back in the Dreamcast days. You can also play young Sonic and current Sonic that changes the gameplay drastically. Now is a good time to own a M18x. In 3D it is seriously awesome!!!

stu.artd add me on Steam & Origin!!

Do people get shot in this game? Because if nobody gets shot, what's the point of playing it? :D

I got it on the day it came out, very good game but the voice acting is crud. And some of the cheesy plot points spoil it + short "bland" story but the story was decent.

Gameplay was the best by far though

I bought it on steam for $20 a few weeks ago and played it briefly. Looks great. I finished LA Noire last night so I think this might be next on the list.

It's definately got it's touch like older Sonic games, SEGA have really stepped up their game and this is how Sonic should be IMO. Classic sonic levels were ace as well. They hit those PERFECTLY.

Graphics are actually amazing too, and if you compare them to PS3 or 360 the PC wins by miles. Even my step brother who is a PS3 player said the graphics are a lot better.

I totally agree. It looks even better running on my UN55D8000 TV at 240hz with dynamic oversaturated colors. I also had the chance to play it in 3D before I got this problem http://forum.notebookreview.com/ali...onfidential-error-message-10.html#post8250965 . Sonic Generations in 3D adds so much depth making the game feel "seriously multilevel". Until Dell/Nvidia fix the 3D problem, I'll just have to stick with 2D. :(

I know that it doesn't support SLI. I'd like to know if it supports CF. Even if it doesn't a single 6990M is more than up for the task.

It plays it well on the 6990M with just Chemical Plant (Modern) it spikes a tad in the water rush tunnel place as you enter it

Other than that it handles it really well, didn't experiment to much with graphics though

The UN55D8000 is an amazing TV. I love the oversaturated colors. Kinda like the R2's RGB LED display and MBP screens.

I heard that the high end Dell Ultrasharp monitors smoke most monitors available including the R2's RGB LED. Some of them are well over 1000.00USD.

Hi I have the same exact tv, how do you configure it to run at 240hz when hooking up your m18?
When I run fraps while it only shows 60...

The tv it's self does the the up-conversion when auto motion plus is enabled. That's why fraps can't detect 240hz.
