This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    You have to send the old system back once you get the replacement, you can use the same box in which you receive the replacement to send back the old laptop and ac/adapter.

    I wanted to report that I was also setup for a replacement after 2 onsite tech visits and a shipping to the depot. Jose Hernandez got things rolling for me after I asked for him by name based on feedback from the forums here. Alienware/Dell, thanks for doing the right thing.

    glad to find a thread with someone else having the same problem, that give me a little hope. i ordered my m18r2 04/20/2013. 7th ship delay date says this thursday. so we'll see..
