Unlocking the 7970m...

so ive searched and search and got nothing but one thread about how to overclock it. but i dont know if that applies to crossfire aswell.
and that thread is dated awhile back. are they any easier ways to overclock it? i know i dont really need to but i want to have it just cause..
i have never had or tried to overclock gpus in the past. but i want to get into it. aswell as overclock my cpu when i upgrade from 3630qm.

Hmm... not sure why your search turned up nothing. Maybe your search technique is not effective. There is a ton of information on it here at NBR. I will post some links for you. The steps are basically the same whether you are overclocking one or two GPUs.

Look at these threads, in the order the links appear in the list, and you will find a heap of information on how to overclock your AMD cards. You will need to do some tweaking to get it done.
