I been running it for a few months now. Works fine for me. I did a clean install from a version I got right from microsoft. Seems to work better than overlaying Win7. Downside is you have to D/L all the drivers from Dell. Upside is you dont need to enter any keys to get it to validate.

It seems like all driver issues have gone already.

For what it's worth. Dell is actually stating that the 18 is now tested and ok with Windows 10. That is different than their previous stance when they were actually advising users not to upgrade. For what it's worth.

I ran Windows 10 on day 1 release with my Alienware M18xR1 and had 0 issues. Since then, I have gotten a new Alienware 18 and immediately upgraded to 10 from 8.1 and again, have had 0 issues. I think the biggest issue people had was a bad nvidia driver (version 361 or something like that) and with evga Precision. Don't install either things and you'll be just fine!

What about Alienware M18X-R2? There isn't any windows 10 compatible drivers for it in DELL page and it seems they won't develop new drivers for this system anymore. You people are using 8.1 drivers in W10 OS?

I have 364.51 installed atm. What all would I have to do other than download and install Win 10? As far as driver updates etc? If Win 10 preforms better than 7 Im all about it

My M18X-R2 works with windows 8.1 drivers MOSTLY but its not 100% stable. The OSD driver could use a more windows 10 friendly update as well as a update for the AlienFX as well. Its a pity Dell dont update the bios even so we could officialy support the maxwell GPUs even tho raidiar and that are trying to work on an update in that area. M18X-r2 is a really solid system its just a pity Dell wont support it anymore its not often you can get something that can last a long time and be worth the money.

I have two win 10 systems installed on my laptop. It's been a few weeks, haven't had any issues thus far. Used drivers posted on the official Dell website plus 364.51.

I've been playing with win10 since the pre-releases. I have no problems with it, all my games work well and I haven't had any problems with any program. Playing Rise of the Tomb Raider with Direct 12, and looking forward to Quantum Break, after all the bugs (if any) are dealt with.
