The M18x will be better than your Asus, that is for sure!

Also, you can return it within the 21 days, as stated above. Not sure how the restocking fee's occur, though.

Anyone know if it's possible to overclock the Sli ?. And how many % more CAN i hope ?

I can't afford the 6970 crossfire , to expensive in Europe . I hope the Sli With some overclock can run game in high details .

Dragonlord if you look you will see each type of Alienware has a spot for "Order Status Discussion" you will see some are lucky and get it in a few weeks my M17xR3 was more then 9 weeks and yes before I get jumped this was after the recall on the CPUs at the start of the year ;-; Ha trolls can't jump me now

Best thing I can say is forget about it and when it does show up double the joy I'm overseas and waiting for the 560/570 SLI to show up then order sad but it will takes months odds are to get mine. Good deal the Army can get from them but the wait is going to kill me out here ha

Congrats on your M18x!!! I too use to own a G73.
Unlike the Asus forums, this forum is more organized and on topic.

You'll come to know that the members of this section of the forum, tend to be more helpful/tech savy and have less delusions of grandeur as opposed to the Asus forum.

I'm sure you will come to enjoy your M18x. :D

The 460's are no slouch, they also overclock pretty well. The cooling ability of the m18x is quite capable. You can push them easily to gtx560 speeds (775mhz) usually getting to around 800-850mhz core and 1500mhz mem before things start to get a bit unstable.

This is all using msi afterburner, by the way.

Too hard to call a number on that in general but I can give tell you that crysis sees an extra 6-7fps with the overclock in place. It will vary per game, ones that are gpu limited will see a nice boost. Others, not so much.
