Hi Guys,
I have just purchased a 880M GTX which was removed from a M17X R5 laptop. I have installed the GPU and it is recognized in the system BIOS, however I cannot get Nvidia drivers to install.. Can anybody please advise I thought this was a simply plug and play or so I have read threads.
Appreciate all the help, thank you in advance.

You need to mod the inf for the drivers to install.. Try one of these drivers from the below link..
LaptopVideo2Go: Drivers
Otherwise google how to mod the inf and install drivers.. Plenty of info here...
Also Mr Fox's desktop driver mod works well with 880Ms.. If you can request him to add the device id to the modded inf for you..

It should already work for 880M.

Mr Fox is right, you dont need to mod any drivers to install drivers for 880M.
