    m18xr2 single card to sli- screws for second card present?

    I am getting ready to open mine for SLI install (never had it) was wondering if i need to get any screws, as in to hold down the video card. or any other small items not listed. Im thinking iof i need screws the panel that the non fan was in with might be the ticket?

    so far i have:
    sli cable
    kapon tape
    nos heatsink with pads
    nos spreader
    fan
    paste
    extra thermal pad material for sli protection mod
    330w supply

    Don't quote me but I bet they are already in your computer installed on the blanks that are in the inside... well at least mine are. If you take off the back there is a blank spot for a fan and it uses the screws to hold it down inplace so just remove blanks install real object place screws back in place. There are at least 2 blanks 1 for a fan, 1 for a gpu so there you go

    when install 2nd gpu, just remove the dummy gpu and you will have 2 screws for new gpu, as for the fan, usually it will be attached to the new fan you bought, 3 screws in total, if not, you can remove 3 screws from the dummy fan, remember it will a bit difficult since you have to remove the c-plate first
    /edit: if you want to upgrade to SLI, beside fan and SLI cable, you have to have backplate (x-bracket) and 2nd heatsink, be sure to get them
