my cpu is hitting 100c on full load , i have been searching for a tool to modify voltages but havent had any luck so far, i tried intel extreme tuning utility but is not showing voltage slider bar , another old utility called rmclock but is not running at all , i flashed the main board to unlocked a10 bios but there is no option to adjust voltage as far i can tell, any help will be greatly appreciated !!

you cannot undervolt ivy bridge or sandy bridge, as there is no voltage regulator like found in haswell You can only add voltage, not decrease. My advise is to keep flex on 0 and repaste with CLU ASAP

forget grizzly. Coolaboratory Liquid Ultra does the same as conductonaut and it is cheaper.

My own cpu genrally hovers around 70 to 85 under load. Fan kicks in if it hits 90 and drops it back below 80 but thats only under the occasional spike. The CPU in mine hasnt ever been taken out or the fan removed. Had the m18x 4 years now so thinking it might be due a repaste but dunno about opening the whole thing again after getting it working the way I have it. Whats the normal cpu tempretures for people?

with turbo boost enabled i get max temps of 95/100 celcius but i have to check if those max temps are sustained for a long period or if they drop right away . im using hw monitor . without turbo boost i get max temps around 85C .

Flex in the bios, make sure it is set to 0. flex is extra voltage added to the processor
