ok.. i set some values and there just plain not sticking... I can enable extreme edition and it will hold but the moment i set flex vid override bios wont keep settings..

I ran the diag test and it seems im getting a memory error.. is there any way to pin point what module it would be from that test? with out taking the laptop apart?
and could that be the reason the bios wont hold the settings?

edit: it seems that setting the non turbo flex support is what wont hold.. extreme edition holds just fine.. but the moment non turbo flex support is enabled blam! bios reset those 2 options.. i.e. meaning wont save the settings..

AFAIK there isn't an easy way to physically pinpoint which module is bad, admittedly though I might just not have looked hard enough for the answer. What I do is just a binary search (test all, test half, test half of that etc.). You'll get to the broke module in about an hour's time. (use memtest86+ not Dell's tester)

If everything works fine leave the non-turbo flex support disabled. There's no need for it to be enabled that I am aware of. That might not even apply to Ivy Bridge.

yea thing is im running my xm cpu and is sandy bridge..lol..
well me and brother john had a go at it last night and if I understood him correctly the problem is with my EC controller as we found a ton of errors being reported in windows..
He saaid i need to flash back my A07 bios and go from there to see if it corrects the problem..

so if any one can back up a copy of A07 for me that would be great..
