so I've got a r1 c2d and i'm wondering which one of these drivers i should install. battery life isn't a horrible problem with me as i'm 99% of the time plugged in when i'm on my laptop. and also is there a diy or something to help me switch to discrete mode so i can use the drivers without any resolution problems or other problems??

edit: ok i just checked my drivers and since i bought my laptop 3 weeks ago they already have the 197.16 drivers on it. i guess my question is, is it worth it to upgrade to 197.72

There's so many different options on this forum. 197.72, 257.21, 258.49 i just wish there was a sticky sorting them out. saying this is best best performance chip with being able to switch to the intel, best performance and stability without switchability. if i stay on my performance mode, which driver is best. it's just to confusing to make a decision with a million and one options out there

I've installed 197.72 which is the latest on the dell support site with no issues. I believe the others mentioned are nvidia non-oem drivers which may or may not work and may take additional tweaks to get working properly on the m11x.

I'm sure you can find the information in the forum, but i've never seen a good list with info about each specifically.
