Which one is better from what you guys have seen?

There are at least four other topics discussing this, is it REALLY that hard to go look for another? I'm not answering your question, go take five seconds to look.
-
None of them ACTUALLY answer my question (which is why i decided to post a question) I wanted to know which one people thought performed better, not if one caused problems with the Nvidia control panel...
-
Why don't you just download it and try it out? Its not like youll get a BSOD or anything its a driver...
-
most people are saying that 260.99 drivers are more compatible with games.
-
played with both 260.99 and 266.58. The 266.58 drivers gave me about 10~ more frames per second compared to 260.99 for the games I play(SC2 in the upper 30s on medium/high, BC2 in the 40s on medium,DoW2 in the 50s on ultra, and others). It also fixed the PB problem for me in Bad Company 2.
-
I use 266.44 (which I guess ain't far from 266.58).
I noticed better gaming experience than 260.99 altho I don't have precise figures, just feedback.
Plus fixed the PB problem in BFBC2, which was essential for me. -
Overall performance is significantly better with 266.58 for me but unfortunately you can't play Pro Evolution Soccer with it and Modern Warfare 2 hangs a lot.
-
wait and see how the next set of drivers do!
-
REALLY!? you spend your time typing that post of yours for that instead of being nice and just answering a simple question? -

I prefer 266.58 since I don't have problems running anything with them.
With 260.99, I can't enable anti-aliasing so my games end up looking like someone lined the edges of objects with a pencil. -
There is no straight answer that driver A will be better than driver B for everyone.
The only way to really find out is to try yourself (which is what the op needs to do - not open a thread asking for the answer). -
Question, does Black Ops run better with 260, or 266? Also I got the M11X R1, I will be giving up the Intel integrated crap for better FPS.

every time i use the 260.99, it makes it hard to use the alien fx progam. it gets blacked out

I've never had a problem with the 260.99. I wanted to test out the new driver so I dl'd 266.58 and for the past 2 weeks and I've had occasional frame drops in DOW II Retribution to ~10 which I shrugged off as it's a resource intensive game. Just played Black Ops again, same issue- same settings as it used to be, I even turned them all the way down, same issue.
I'm reverting back to the 260.99 drivers now to test both the games out again. Never had a problem running them on 260.99, hopefully it'll fix it. -
Coming from 260.99 I've been on the beta 267.24 drivers and have seen a slight increase in the games I play (SC2, WoW, Champions Online) Didn't try DA2 on the 260 drivers but it runs at 40fps plus on the 267. Never did try the 266s on any of the games though to know if it is better or worse than the beta drivers I'm on.

266.58 kinda wrecks Optimus for me in the sense that it doesn't allow BioShock 2 and who knows what else to recognize the 335M and, therefore, run. I have to use 260.99.

260.99 Resolved my problems with BO- didn't get to test on DOW II Ret as I installed the beta 267.24 instead. I also saw a slight increase in both BO and DOW II Ret and no problems since, so I'm personally sticking with 267.24. (R2 Only)
-
the 267.24 arnt r2 only. to use them with the r1 you just have to disable the intel chip
260.99 or 266.58?
