    Noticed this the other day.

266.58 driver. No gaming since last reboot. A lot of Outlook 2010, Firefox, Virtualbox usage. System had been up for 4 or 5 days at this point.

After I noted this I rebooted. Less than 24 hours later that process was at 600+MB. Uninstalled, booted to safe mode, driver sweep, rebooted, installed same driver in Clean mode. Issue hasn't returned and is currently at a more reasonable 7M after 18 hours of uptime.

Anyone else seen this with any version of the Verde drivers?

I just looked at mine and I have 4500k and I have put it into suspend mode and woken(?) it up several times since a reboot.

Hm I wonder why my driver doesn't have that process (258.96 modded) I mean, what does it benefit?

Since reinstalling it hasn't had any issues. Still at 7M. Strange...

Has to do with the control panel if I'm not mistaken. Check the nvxdsync via google. I recall reading something about it a few days ago. Some reported disabling it without issue but losing CP. Not sure. Its been associated with issues since 260.xx.

ahhaa have latest nvidia drivers on my desktop and I checked this Nsync out and it has accumulated about 20K of my RAM from my comp being on the last couple days (I leave torrents on) I think this has to do with leaving comp idle this thing massive accumulates RAM, this just a theory tho

I actually noticed this today, had my computer on for about a week, and I only had 30-40% RAM available while idle. I got 6 GB total, and thought it was a bit strange. Unfortunately I ended the process and reinstalled the drivers without taking a screenie, but it was using 1 886 xxx KB of RAM and counting. So I was almost at 1,9 GB of RAM wasted on this thing. Very peculiar.
