I had the 275.27 installed before this. Due to a nvlddmkm.sys error I have been flashing through the 270.51 and 267 drivers a lot the last week and finally got a clean install that seems to have rid me of the problem. However on the 275.27 drivers I get a very strange water texture effect in Rift, one of the main games I play. So I was happy to hear about the WHQL 275.33 drivers and wanted to give them a shot.

I downloaded them and rebooted to safe mode. Uninstalled the old drivers, swept and cleaned, then I rebooted into safe mode to install the new drivers and that is when the problem arose. No drivers will recognized my card now. I get the error that "No compatible hardware can be located" or something along those lines. I know modded ini and inf files have the ability to fix this usually but what I want to know is why none of the drivers will work, not even the 270.51 drives I used to use that worked fine.

    Any ideas?

Scratch this thread, I figured it out. I must have accidentally driver swept my chipset drivers as well when I was removing stuff. Don't know if that caused it or not but it defiantly fixed it.
